Help the Community Advocacy Center Build Democracy!

Being a volunteer or intern is a great way to learn about how government really works, investigate interesting community issues, and advocate for best government practices.   

Internships for high school, college and law students available! Get outside the classroom to learn how to use civic skills, community organization tools, and the law to make a difference!

Community Advocacy Center

The Community Advocacy Center (CAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, non-partisan community based legal organization dedicated to building democracy.  CAC uses a community lawyer model to empower community groups to be confident and competent civic participants and pursue government accountability, transparency, and accessibility.
